Dear Rabbi Lebovics,
Just a note to thank you once again for such a beautiful, meaningful, and trauma-free
bris for our son Benjamin this past Sunday. We were so pleased with how Ben did not seem to be in undue pain, that he nursed then fell asleep right away after the
ceremony, and that he is healing so well. We believe and are also told by our family and friends that this was the nicest and most meaningful bris that any of us has ever
attended. We are so pleased that you did not use anesthesia as we did not want our son drugged during the ceremony. The circumcision itself was so quick, a matter of
seconds, and the sugar water and wine seemed to sufficiently calm Ben. This is how the bris has been done for centuries, and for a good reason!! Our friends who have
had their son circumcised by an M.D,/mohel regretted their decision very mcuh as the circumcision iteslf took 15 minutes, and the anesthesia took a long, long time to wear
off. Unfortunately, their son needed a week to recover.
We also appreciated all your calls in advance, how you thoroughly prepared us for
the whole ceremony before hand, how comforting and reassuring you were before, during and after the bris, the thorough aftercare instructions you provided, and your
call afterwards to check on the baby. Your kindness, sense of humor, and deep spirituality meant a lot to us, and the experience exceeded our expectations in every way.
If you would like us to speak with anyone concerning your services, we would be delighted to give a glowing recommendation!!
Warmest regards,
Karen and Bruce Hilsberg
